One of our clients is seeking motivated professionals to work as Residential Aides in residential and group homes in the Hartford area.
HOURS
* First shift, Monday to Friday, no weekends!
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Support and care for adults with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD), and/or Mental Health diagnoses in a residential/group home setting. Opportunities in adolescent programs are also available
* Provide assisted daily living skills and ensure that proper care of the consumer is applied.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of one (1) year paid direct care experience with MH/IDD patients.
* Minimum of one (1) year direct care experience in residential or group home settings with MH/IDD patients.
* Drivers License and personal reliable transportation
* Ability to present Physical/TB screening (within a year)
* CPR/First Aid Certification
* CT State Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprint, Child Abuse Clearance (within the last year)
