    JOB GOAL: To work with the Principal in carrying out the school's academic and behavior programs.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Valid Teaching Certificate
    2. Masters Degree and Principal Certificate preferred
    3. Three years successful teaching experience
    4. Documented evidence of successful leadership experience
    5. Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and to bend and lift 25lbs

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsibilities shall include, but not to be limited to, the following:

    1. Manage the disciplinary program for all students
    2. Assist in the development of curriculum and special projects
    3. Monitor, supervise, and direct extracurricular activities
    4. Assist the principal with facilities maintenance
    5. Assist in managing Special Education Programs
    6. Assist and supervise standardized testing
    7. Support the principal in leading the implementation of the school improvement goals
    8. Monitor and implement campus safety policies and procedures
    9. Develop and foster community connections that will enhance the educational experience of all students
    10. Implement all School Board Policies and Procedures
    11. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal

    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 11-month/218 days
    COMPENSATION: Certified Exempt Salary Schedule
    BENEFITS: As per District policy
    REPORTS TO: Principal
    EVALUATION: Initial evaluation to be completed no later than ninety (90) days after first day of work; thereafter, annually by supervisor.
    HOURS: 40 hours per week, and may require longer hours - Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
    CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
