Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to navigate efficiently through designated routes. The Delivery Driver will operate a box truck and may be required to handle loading and unloading of goods.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring items are secured during transit.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
• Handle any issues or delays in a professional manner, keeping customers informed as necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or Courier is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving and warehouse operations is a plus.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Knowledge of route driving and navigation systems is beneficial.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently as part of loading/unloading processes.
