Job Summary - CORRECTIONAL HEALTH

Assists the dental/oral surgery team in procedures utilizing proper aseptic technique. Performs Panorexes on regular basis and maintains film library. Maintains sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment. Has current knowledge of equipment and procedures being performed.

Minimum Qualifications

School Education:
High School or GED required. Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Dental Assisting required.

Licenses & Certifications:
Current or eligible for registration as a Dental Assistant with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners required.

Work Experience: One (1) year Dental/Oral Surgery experience preferred.

Language Skills: Spanish preferred

Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
