Job Description:
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 per year; depending on experience.

Essential Duties:
- In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in:
- Ensuring a seamless and supportive HR experience for our staff, adhering to university policies, practices, and regulations while providing the guidance and support they need to succeed.
- Championing UBS's HR service model that's focused on excellence and relationships. We respond to every email, close every loop, and ask a lot of curious questions.
- Overseeing the recruitment process, identifying top talent, and facilitating the interviewing and hiring steps. Familiarity with Workday is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Connecting with our team of over 400 employees. We strive to understand their needs, concerns, and aspirations, and we're always looking for ways to improve their overall experience.
- Helping to train our supervisors navigate tough conversations, and manage with empathy, clarity and accountability.
- Upholding the highest standards of compliance, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
- Your contributions will directly impact the success of our unit, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and employee satisfaction.

Working Environment:
- Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse
- Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds
- Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts
- Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions
