Position Summary:
The Department Leader is the leader of learners for members within their department and works collaboratively with the administration and instructional leaders of the campus and district to ensure the educational needs of students are appropriately served.

Department: High School
Reports to: Principal
Supervises: Certified and/or Classified Staff as assigned

Training and Experience:

• Highly qualified in content area
• Experience as a teacher or counselor
• Prior supervisory experience preferred

Licensing/Certification Requirements:

• Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate
• Valid DPS Fingerprint clearance card

FLSA Status: Exempt
