Job Summary - CORRECTIONAL HEALTH

The Diagnostic Radiology Manager is responsible for the staff and activities of the Diagnostic Radiology department while functioning within a matrix organizational structure. The Diagnostic Radiology Manager directly reports to the Director of Imaging Services with dotted line responsibility to the physicians and administrators. The Diagnostic Radiology Manager's direct reports include the Diagnostic Radiology Technologists and clerical staff of the division. The Diagnostic Radiology Manager will complete performance evaluations and will participate in the hiring and disciplinary action processes of their staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Degree: Bachelor's, Preferred; Radiology Sciences, Business and/or Management

Licensure and Certification: ARRT Certification, Radiography Certification, Texas State License

Work Experience:Five (5) to Eight (8) years Diagnostic Radiology clinical; Three (3) to Five (5) years Diagnostic Radiology supervisory

Management Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years Diagnostic Radiology supervisory/management; preferably in an academic environment

Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Composing (Correspondence/Reports)

Proficiencies: CRT, P.C.
