Dietary Aide
Glens Falls Center is actively seeking Dietary Aides to work at our Skilled Nursing Facility located in Glens Falls, NY. Interested candidates should respond to this posting with a resume or work experience attached, or stop by our facility to fill out an application in person.
"Come and interview with us any Wednesday from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. or Thursday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.".
DUTIES:
- Portioning and serving of food items
- Delivering of trays and carts to resident floors
- Cleaning of dining rooms
- Working on the tray line
- Working in the dish room and pot sink
- Sweeping and mopping
- Disposal of trash and recyclables
Requirements:
- Certification in healthcare cooking (ServSafe or Sodexo)
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in large-scale cooking
- Strong knowledge of large scale & therapeutic food prep
- Must be able to do some physical work
- Should be a strong team player
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
