Digital Analytics Manager
Job Description
The primary role of the digital marketing manager is to drive digital marketing efforts through data led analysis and insights. To be successful in this role you need to be comfortable learning new tools, use analytical approaches to understand marketing levers to initiate new ideas and actions to move the business forward. Credibly interfaces with other analysts, leaders in digital marketing, and data scientists.
Primary Responsibilities
Create and maintain holistic dashboards and reports by pulling data using Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics, other marketing analytics tools related to both website behavior and business performance for business stakeholders.
Design and develop customer journey reports by combining insights from customer analytics data with core business data to identify areas for improvement and optimization across the different customer acquisition channels.
Conduct initial and ongoing audits with new campaign rollouts to ensure the quality of captured data, conduct analysis to assess the performance of new marketing initiatives.
Analyze, prepare, and publish monthly/ongoing reports on various customer tracking programs using SQL queries, data mining, trend analysis, and other appropriate methods.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to participate on projects with cross functional teams.
Job Specifications
Navigate Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
Manage tags in Google Analytics
Ability to write SQL queries.
Work across business & IT to communicate reporting requirements and technical implementation.
Establish relationship of trust across department boundaries
Attention to detail in their work
Working with deadlines and completing tasks on time
Providing recommendations and challenging the status quo
Proactively investigating issues and concerns
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree preferred in statistics, mathematics, or economics
Five or more years of experience in an analytics role
Experience in web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytic. Experience with data analysis tools like SQL, Python, R or SAS a plus.
