Delta-T Group has a Direct Care Worker 1:1 opportunity in the Reading/Wyomissing area with flexible schedule options. One year previous healthcare/direct care experience and a valid Driver's License are required.
HOURLY RATE
* $15.00 /hr. depending on contractor's qualifications, availability, and skill.
This contract role compensates weekly. We give you 90 days to try the position, and at the end of the 90 days, most of our Contractors are offered a full-time position with benefits. In many cases, those same individuals are promoted within another 90 days!
AVAILABLE HOURS
* 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift every day of the week - 1 & 2nd can be combined for 1- 16hr shift
* Must be available to work some weekends
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Your daily responsibilities will involve assisting a client with an Intellectual and Developmental disability in a managed residential group home setting. You will be responsible for assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, and general supervision. The individual is high-functioning.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Must be 18 year of age or older
* Valid Driver's License
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
