Direct Support Professional-Compressed 2 1 / 2 day work week

Cheyenne Village is looking for caring and passionate individuals to work in a home as a caregiver and role model for three adults with disabilities. The work our teams do is rewarding and fulfilling because of the positive impact we make to the lives of the people we support. As a role model, you will help our individuals to make individual choices and empower them to make informed decisions about how they want to live their lives. The decisions and choices they make help them become a vital part of the community we live in. Available shifts are Sunday - Tuesday or Friday -Sunday. Private area for sleep time. Positions are full time + benefits.

Duties include, but are not limited to, personal care, housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, medication administration, and community outings.

Maintains current CPR, First Aid and QMAP certifications. All training for certifications is paid.

Maintains acceptable criminal background and Department of Motor Vehicle checks. Maintain valid US driver's license.

Physical demands: Move about from location to location. Exerts force and/or lifts or carries objects up to 10 lbs. regularly, 10-20 lbs. frequently and 20-50 lbs. occasionally.
