Our Client is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP's)/Caregivers to provide support and care in a group home setting.
LOCATION, AVAILABLE HOURS, & HOURLY RATE
* Fort Worth area
* $12/hr. depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
* Full-time hours: all shifts
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF OPPORTUNITY
* Assist persons with autism and other intellectual development disabilities. Support performance of daily living activities includinf but not limited to bathing, teeth brushing, and dressing.
* Assist with training activities as specified in Individual Support Plans (ISP) and activity schedules
* Provide supervision to ensure Individuals' safety and health care needs are not compromised
* Implement maladaptive behavior reduction program as specified by the behavior support plan, protocol or facility emergency procedures
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
* Possession of a valid Driver's License
* Verifiable experience working with developmentally disabled (preferred)
* Ability to satisfactorily complete and pass given background checks and drug screen
