Our Client is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)/Caregivers to provide support and care to persons with intellecual and developmental disabilities in the northeast and northwest areas of San Antonio.
AVAILABLE HOURS & HOURLY RATE
* $12/hr. depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
* Full-time hours: 2nd and 3rd shifts are available immediately for qualified candidates.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Ensure the safety and well-being of the consumers served
* Teach consumer(s) to maximize their independence
* Provide services that meet the consumers essential needs
* Ensure that all consumers are free from abuse, neglect, and exploitation
* Help maintain the safest and cleanest living environment possible for all consumers
* Oversee, and assist whenever needed, the consumers daily living task(s) to ensure proper completion
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
* Must be flexible regarding work hours
* Must have and maintain a valid Texas Drivers License
* Must have reliable transportation, and able to safely operate a motor vehicle and travel to job sites in San Antonio
* Must be willing and able to travel in inclement weather
* Must maintain an acceptable driving record per Driving Eligibility Criteria provided by the Companys liability insurance carrier
* Effective communication skills: verbal and written
* Basic technical skills
