Our Client is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide service in Silver Spring County.
AVAILABLE HOURS
*All shifts are available
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide necessary structure to assist people we support to become regularly engaged and fully included in their communities
* Willingly work independently and make effective decisions regarding all aspects of safe, productive, positive outcomes for each person being supported
* Prepare progress notes and complete daily logs as directed
* May require some daily driving as needed by the program
* Treat residents with dignity and respect including providing opportunities to engage in decision making, constructive activities, and habilitative services to the extent they are able
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Compassionate about the care and well being of others
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Must have a valid Drivers License and the ability to transport persons being serviced
* Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and pushing
