Job Description
Join a passionate, mission-driven team thats shaping the future of pediatric care. Valley Childrens Healthcare is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee our Ambulatory Operations. This director-level role reports directly to the Vice President, Medical Group and Ancillary Operations, and plays a critical part in driving operational excellence, patient experience, and staff development across our ambulatory division.
What Youll Do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for assigned ambulatory programs
- Partner with medical, clinical, and nursing teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
- Oversee program leaders and support them in managing day-to-day operations
- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of operating and capital budgets
- Drive continuous quality and performance improvement initiatives
- Develop a strong leadership pipeline, emphasizing dyad leadership principles
- Maintain 24-hour accountability for department performance and alignment with organizational goals

- Proven leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in ambulatory or pediatric settings

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum three (3) years management experience required.
- Minimum five (5) years increasingly responsible experience which demonstrates proficiency in the skills and knowledge required to perform the job preferred.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- College Degree - 4 year in related field required.
- Master's Degree in related field preferred.
