Position Summary
The Director, New Client Accounting is responsible for learning, evaluating, and integrating accounting processes and systems across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to partner with senior management, middle management and staff to identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and overall team capabilities. He/she will be adept at operating in high-volume, deadline-driven environments and thrive in an entrepreneurial and rapidly evolving atmosphere.
Essential Functions
Serve as the lead point of contact for finance and accounting integrations
Identify best in class accounting processes & implement these processes across platforms
Standardized financial reporting across platforms
Identify opportunities for standardization and conformity across platforms
Review close processes and identify areas for improvement/standardization
Establish relationships and evaluate performance and process gaps
Evaluate team workflows to propose and implement improvements in efficiencies
Monitor team performance, available capacity, and training needs
Performs special projects as directed
Qualifications
Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive
Ability to improve and streamline multiple processes across different functions of department
Bachelors Degree in accounting required
10 or more years of accounting leadership experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
Proven problem solving, analytical, troubleshooting and time-management skills
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills; has ability to convey a clear and concise thought.
