Job Purpose:

Responsible for the day to day operations of the CSI department and overseeing the areas of software development, electronic health record (EHR) optimization, data collection, application analysis and training.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Ensure the consistency of service for existing applications by developing, maintaining, and enforcing standards, best practices, and procedures.
  • Direct the design, development, and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems software to meet management and company's information needs.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing applications and information systems (IS) knowledge
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships within CSI and with QIC, IT and clinical teams

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement application systems in accordance with planned business results, time frames, and budgets. Ensure the consistency of service for existing applications by developing, maintaining, and enforcing standards, best practices, and procedures.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on the use of the EHR as a tool to integrate and facilitate information sharing across systems in a way that enhances clinical operations.
  • Evaluate IS development within the industry on a continuing basis, assessing impact of these developments, and advice the enterprise on specific new implementation(s) for assigned projects/products.
  • Ensure that necessary information system Design, Build and Run documentation is in place for all applications
  • Work closely with other members of management team on a continuing basis regarding systems for assigned projects/products
  • Provide periodic reporting to various levels of management regarding individual and departmental, projects status and progress, identifying issues or potential problems or systems initiatives. Make recommendations and decisions regarding alternatives or solutions.
  • Create, manage, and develop a positive departmental staff experience; provide supervision and accountability to members of the CSI team to ensure performance goals align with organizational values.
  • Continually monitor the departments activities and staff; take appropriate action to ensure efficient and effective operation and staff performance.
  • Lead departmental team meetings, committees, and work groups in a positive, collaborative manner that promotes a culture of service excellence; serve as a subject matter expert as needed.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and cooperation across all levels of the organization to achieve the mission and vision of AllHealth Network.
  • Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures.
  • Complete all deliverables accurately, legibly and by established timelines.
  • Complete all required trainings as listed in Relias Learning (both online training and face-to-face training) within required timelines.
  • Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee.

Key Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • One of the following: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Computer Information Systems. Master's degree in a related field is preferred.

  • Requires seven to ten years minimum of related experience supporting systems as an administrator/analyst, including three (3) years successful staff management experience. Prefer experience with a not-for-profit business model and a clear understanding of electronic health records. Must understand business use of application technologies. Ability to complete multiple on-going tasks in a timely manner while facilitating change. Promotes a positive culture of leadership and quality improvement when engaging in process improvement.

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives as well as a generous benefits package detailed below.
