Job Description

This full time Director over see the Environmental Services department for Northwest Medical Center.

As an organization leader, this position shares accountability for facilitating organizational and department goals using effective leadership knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure achievement of expected results for patient/customer service, employee engagement, financial health, business growth and quality and safety outcomes.

Oversees organizational compliance with local, state and federal environment, health and safety regulations. Ensures that environmental policy and procedure manuals are available and updated at all times. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Education

Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Associates or Bachelors degree

Experience

Required: Five (5) years housekeeping experience, with at least two (2) of those in a leadership role
Preferred: Previous experience as manager of housekeeping experience in a hospital environment
