We're hiring for a DYNAMIC and EXPERIENCED DIRECTOR of LAB SERVICES!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Laboratory Services Director provides overall clinical management of the Laboratory. Supervises and coordinates multiple departments as well as manages and assists all personnel with the Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs. The Director also has a direct working knowledge of the Laboratory Information System. Works with and reports to the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure that inpatient and outpatient services are integrated appropriately.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelors Degree and completion of approved training program for medical Technology with MT (ASCP) certification preferred or a combination of equivalent training and experience.
  2. Advanced education in management / supervision preferred.
  3. Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Medical Technologist with at least two (2) of those years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
  4. Certification per unit specific competency (i.e. BLS, CPI, etc.).
