Director of Surgical Services

Sidney Health Center is seeking a Director of Surgical Services to join our robust surgery department. The Director must be a strong communicator, as this position requires collaboration with staff, surgeons, CRNAs, vendors, patients and families, peers, and senior leaders. This position reports to the Senior Executive, Nursing Services and is responsible for the planning of growth opportunities, thus setting the vision and goals of the department. Candidate must have a strong background in quality improvement, budgeting, data analysis and the flow of patients through the department, from preop to PACU to discharge or admission. The Director must possess knowledge of CMS regulations, AORN, AAMI and ASPAN standards. This position plays a vital role in the efficiency of the department. This position requires a BSN and 3 years of clinical experience in surgical services or 3 years of leadership experience including supervision and coordination of staff.
