Job Description

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is seeking a Director of Talent to join their People Experience team! In this position you will design, implement and direct a company-wide process for talent acquisition, onboarding & compliance. In this role you will be empowered to make an impact at an organization with a meaningful mission, Delivering Compassionate Care to Enhance Lives and Improve Communities. In partnership with the Chief People Officer and Executive Leadership, you will address issues such as, workforce development, employee retention, succession planning and change management.

Schedule/Location: This is a full-time hybrid position working Monday through Friday. Hybrid schedule includes working at our Administration Building located north of downtown Phoenix and flexibility to work a few days per week at home.

Compensation: Salary will be dependent on experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
  • 8 years progressive experience within Human Resources/People Operations
  • 2 years supervisory experience
  • Experience in talent acquisition, HR compliance and onboarding
  • Experience with ATS, HRIS and MS Office. UKG experience preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and administers programs, procedures and guidelines to align the workforce planning with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Identifies and monitors the organizations culture so that it supports the attainment of the companys goals and promotes employee satisfaction. Works with management to enhance retention.
  • Utilizes various recruitment tools and analyzes the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  • Conducts analysis of PE metrics to assist with strategies to increase and enhance the engagement and retention of staff.
  • Maintains the work structure by ensuring job descriptions for positions are kept current with competencies, FLSA classifications and skills required for the position.
  • Develop recruitment marketing materials, community outreach and expansion of recruitment networks. Oversee recruitment campaigns including social media, career fairs and college recruitment programs. Assists in branding, creating a vision and name recognition that cultivates mission driven candidates to SB&H.
  • Ensures fair, equitable and uniform employment practices and complies with all state, federal, funding source and regulatory bodies and comply with established SB&H best practices and policies and procedures.
