Director Women & Children Patient Care Services:

The Director of Women & Children assists in organization and administration of Patient Care Services in Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother-Baby, Pediatrics, PICU, Child Life & Women's Care . The prime candidate for this position is an innovative leader who engages others while building confidence and trust throughout the organization, with physicians and the Tucson community. Responsible for analyzing nursing and ancillary services to improve the quality of patient care and ensuring maximum utilization of staff time and resources.

The Director of Women and Children services is responsible for the development of programs that meet our community needs in Pediatrics and Obstetrics. This leadership role shall be skilled in performance improvement methodologies and have proven experience with management of women and childrens programs. It is imperative that a deep understanding of relevant quality metrics is achieved in order to maintain top performance in the quality of patient care. Proven talents in growing teams and partnering with medical staff are a must.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Masters degree in Nursing or related field required.

EXPERIENCE: Eight (8) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting required.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona required.
