Pay Range

$59. 65 - $84.27/hr

Position SummaryTo provide leadership and accountability in the daily operations of the perioperative departments. This includes,developing and maintaining physician relations, empowering clinical care givers through solicitation of input, and implementation of actions in order to improve delivery of patient care. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the provision of services in the department. Participates in and/or supervises the delivery of patient care as necessary, and has the responsibility for establishing standards of nursing practice for the service. Assures achievement of department goals and takes an active role in achievement of hospital goals as they relate to the operations department. Assures adherence to hospital policies and standards set forth by accreditation and regulatory agencies. Additionally, will be available to support the clinical needs of the department by providing staffing support as volume and acuity demand.

License/CertificationsCurrent Colorado Nursing License.

Minimum Education RequirementsBSNMSN or MBA, preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirements3 years administrative experience over more than one department. Maintains professional certification in one of the following: CNOR, CPAN, CAPA, TLS, TNCC, CRNFA.

Maintains membership in a professional organization in one of the following: AORN, CNA, ANA, CCNA, ENA, ASPAN.Proven success in positively impacting departmental metrics.Proven success in building and promoting strong relationships with Surgeons, Anesthesiologist, Physician andOrganizational Leaders to successfully plan and implement efficient perioperative functions and growth.

OrthoColorado Hospital is Colorado's only orthopedic specialty hospital and is designed specifically for the orthopedic patient. Located on the St. Anthony Medical Campus, OrthoColorado Hospital is a joint venture between physician investors and Centura Health. Our state-of-the-art facility features a 48-bed inpatient unit, including six intermediate care beds and eight operating rooms. All members of our staff and team, from pre-operative care through recovery, and our in-patient nurses are specialty trained in orthopedics. Our surgeons are renowned for their talent, knowledge and experience in their orthopedic specialties and sub-specialties.
