Pay Range$59. 65 - $84.27/hr

Job Summary
Provides leadership and accountability in the daily operations of the perioperative departments. Thisincludes, developing and maintaining physician relations, empowering clinical care givers throughsolicitation of input, and implementation of actions in order to improve delivery of patient care.Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the provision of services in thedepartment. Participates in and/or supervises the delivery of patient care as necessary, and has theresponsibility for establishing standards of nursing practice for the service. Assures achievement ofdepartment goals and takes an active role in achievement of hospital goals as they relate to theoperations department. Assures adherence to hospital policies and standards set forth byaccreditation and regulatory agencies. Additionally, will be available to support the clinical needs ofthe department by providing staffing support as volume and acuity demand.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
Minimum Experience Requirements3 years administrative experience over more than one department.Proven success in positively impacting departmental metrics.Proven success in building and promoting strong relationships with Surgeons, Anesthesiologist,Physician and Organizational Leaders to successfully plan and implement efficient perioperativefunctions and growth.
License/Certifications Requirement
RN required
Maintains professional certification in one of the following: CNOR, CPAN, CAPA, TLS, TNCC, CRNFA
Maintains membership in a professional organization in one of the following: AORN, CNA, ANA, CCNA, ENA, ASPAN
