Job Description
The Director, Specialty Pharmacy Operations will provide Leadership to the Specialty Pharmacy Operations Team and provide support to Specialty Pharmacy Operations Executive Leadership on various initiatives identified by the Specialty Executive Leadership Team. These initiatives may include enterprise-wide performance and service improvement efforts with focus on process improvement, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction. This role will lead a small team of Colleagues who are engaged in Specialty Implementations, Specialty Program Support, and Specialty Productivity Improvement.

Some of the responsibilities will include the following:
* Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities including direct and indirect employee oversight
* Provide Education on Specialty, answer questions, provide guidance based on historical lessons learned
* Collaborate with Proposals and Contracts to provide guidance and approvals on RFP and Performance Guarantees
* Provide guidance, representation, and general oversight of the Specialty Work From Home Program
* Represent Specialty at various leadership meetings, including, but not limited to RER, RRB, Work Force Strategy, and Welcome Season Planning
* Facilitate Specialty Weekly Director Call, Monthly Initiatives Call, Monthly Sales Responses, and Change Management Process
* Assist with the identification, implementation, and measurement of process improvements
* Review team project status regularly and provide guidance on accomplishment of the charter
* Creating presentations of complex project and subject matter to a level of understanding for Executive leadership, Sponsors, Business Partners, and down to the staff level
* Use a consultative approach across Specialty Operations to define problems, lead continuous process improvement efforts, and ultimately manage process change with business stakeholders to ensure our internal and external customer needs are being met
* Evaluate team member performance via goals, survey data, and provide feedback to team members
* Mentoring direct reports and assisting them in their development growth plans

* Responsible for hiring, developing, training, coaching, and overall performance of a Specialty Operations team
* Building and motivating cross-functional teams that exceed corporate expectations

Required Qualifications
* 10+ years experience in working in a professional services environment and direct responsibility for leading Operations Teams
* Sophisticated change management and business process consulting experience acquired in either an internal or external environment
* Quality, process and productivity improvement consulting and solution delivery experience
* Progressive leadership responsibilities in a large organization
* Self-motivated, able to function independently in an environment of limited and/or remote supervision
* Comfortable in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
* Proven capability to work with people at all levels of an organization
* Able to deliver high quality work and solutions that satisfy stakeholder expectations
* Ability to meet deadlines with multiple competing priorities
* Ability to lead and direct a team to problem solve and understand appropriate use of process improvement methodologies and project management related tools
* Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrate adequate leadership, consulting, and facilitation skills
* Able to effectively interact with all levels of management and staff
* High level of proficiency with employee productivity tools including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, LiveMeeting, SharePoint, and Visio
* Potential travel (10%) may be required depending on location/project

Preferred Qualifications
* Retail, Healthcare, Pharmacy, Specialty Pharmacy, or similar industry experience highly desirable
* Program or project management experience preferred
