We are seeking a dynamic Director of Talent Acquisition whose primary responsibility is to lead all future leadership talent acquisition strategies and activities for the company supporting a specific assigned Business Unit. This position will partner with senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive staffing strategy and corresponding programs to enable the organization to achieve its business objectives. This individual will lead a proactive recruiting organization to ensure that world-class leadership talent is sourced, attracted, recruited, and retained by the organization. This position will be responsible for hiring over 13,000 associates per year while managing the following teams and /or company initiatives:

  • TA Manager, TA Team Leaders & Field & Office Based Recruitment Team
  • Workforce Planning, Scheduling & Recruiting Strategy
  • High-Volume & High-Speed Continuity Hiring
  • Specialty Talent Strategy & Planning

Responsibilities:

  • Retain and grow all client and customer relationships.
  • Research and evaluate staffing practices for various client groups to determine inconsistent processes and recommend and build a more consistent and streamlined approach to improve efficiencies, boost client satisfaction levels, drive a higher quality hire, and increase our top-talent.
  • Partner with other TA Leaders to oversee the Companys Recruitment Marketing Strategy & Vendor Management.
  • Assess and design diversity and inclusion efforts to increase our ability to source and secure the best and most diverse talent to drive our companys growth initiatives.
  • Leads and directs 6-8 TA Leaders & 40-65 Recruiters to support business units.
  • Participate in the development and establishment of department goals, objectives, and systems that directly impact HR strategy and overall business plans for the Company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required; Masters Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in business with 5+ years in proactive people management
  • 3 years of retail work experience or exposure, esp. retail field sales, marketing or promotion experience
  • Previous experience with managing 4-10 direct reports; reporting directly to the VP or C-level executive
  • Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing for deadline
  • Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically
