DISHWASHER

STARTING SALARY: $14.86 - $15.54/hr and up, depending on experience; PLUS shift differentials

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Dietary Dishwasher is responsible for making sure all dishes, pots, pans and etc. are correctly washed.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Must possess the minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
2. Previous Dishwashing experience is desirable, but not required. The individual must have the ability to communicate orally and in writing.
3. Good physical and mental health with the ability to lift heavy objects is required.
4. The Dietary Dishwasher will maintain a clean, well groomed and professional appearance.
5. The Dietary Dishwasher must possess a Serv-safe food handlers certificate.

ENVIRONMENT:

South Peninsula Hospital is a 22 bed critical access hospital (CAH) located on the southern end of the Kenai Peninsula. There is a 28 bed long term care facility attached to the hospital.
