Allied Universal Event Services is looking to hire a dispatcher for the Pomona Fairplex . Key responsibilities are monitoring and directing staff via radio from the designated command center at events, concerts, games, conventions, trade shows, etc. All activities are to be documented on a Command Post Log or other document/system as required by the venue.

Pay rate is $16.00-18.00 depending on experience

Essential Job Duties:

• Required to work and talk on a radio receiving emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Interact professionally with Police, Fire and other entities during stressful situations.
• Proactively address problems and suggest solutions.
• Remain calm and professional during radio transmissions.

Qualifications:

• Must have clear radio voice.
• Previous dispatch/radio or ICS experience preferred.
• Computer navigation experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test and may be required to pass a Drivers Record check.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.
• Touch type a minimum of 30 wpm.
