Dispensing Audiologist- FT/Days

SUMMARY: This position is accountable for the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with auditory disorders/hearing impairments and dispensing hearing aids. Completes diagnostic assessment to rule out or define hearing impairment. Completes hearing aid and assistive device selection and dispensation. Develops, implements, and evaluates developmentally/culturally appropriate education to meet the learning needs of the patient/family.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Masters Degree in Audiology. Doctorate degree in Audiology preferred. AU - Audiologist License & CAHAD - CA Hearing Aid Dispenser License are required. BLS - Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position. ASHA - American Speech Language Association preferred. A minimum of three (3) years pediatric experience, or five years of related experience required. Bilingual skills preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period. Day shift.
