How this role supports our mission:

The Donation Center Specialist provides world class customer service by greeting and serving donors in a positive, courteous and timely manner. The Donation Center Specialist safely assists donors with the unloading and sorting of donations in accordance with the established procedure. The Donation Center Specialist will also assist in the loading and unloading of Goodwill truck delivery and/or pickup. The Specialist knows and understands GISAs mission and why donations are important to the mission.The Specialist helps communicate and educate the public on GISAs mission.


What we require from you:

Special requirements:

  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be able to stand for long periods at a time; climb stairs; bend,
  • Must pass the strength and agility test with a "Light" score or higher.
  • reach and stretch repeatedly during a shift.

Additional Requirements:

Ability and willingness to perform all job tasks with a positive attitude.

Communicate in an honest, polite, and well-intentioned manner.

Do the right thing.

Able to travel and transfer to all Goodwill sites on a regular basis as necessary.

Able to work in all weather conditions, with exposure to moving trucks and forklifts, and moderate noise levels.

Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.

Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and environments.

Ability to read, write, and speak English; follow written and verbal instruction.

Possess current AZ drivers license, and personal transportation with proof of auto insurance.
