One of our clients is seeking a Drug and Alcohol (D&A) Therapist to provide service in the greater Philadelphia area.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide assessment services as needed; determine proper level of care.
* Maintain an active caseload of patients.
* Deliver therapeutic services and maintain a clinical chart on each patient.
* Maintain required paperwork: Treatment plans, group and individual progress notes, and case consultations
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited university
* Licensed therapist (preferred). License eligible required
* CAADC (referred)
* Minimum of one year experience working with substance use disorders
* Experience must include one (1) year of direct work experience with the chemically dependent, MAT (opiate addicted) and/or co-occurring patients (MH & DA).
* Valid Driver's License
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
* Must be able to produce valid medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
