One of our clients is seeking a Drug and Alcohol (D&A) Counselor to provide service in the greater Philadelphia.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide assessment services as needed; determine proper level of care.
* Maintain an active caseload of patients.
* Deliver therapeutic services and maintain a clinical chart on each patient.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a focus in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services) or other related field
* Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience with a Master's Degree; and three (3) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree. Experience must include one (1) year of direct work experience with the chemically dependent, MAT (opiate addicted) and/or co-occurring patients (MH & DA).
* Valid Driver's License
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
* Must be able to produce valid medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
* Licensed counselor (preferred)
