One of our clients is seeking a Early HeadStart Teacher to provide service in Baltimore, MD.
HOURS
* Mon- Fri Schedule available*
*Immediate Start for the School year 2022-2023*
*Competive Compensation Rate *
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*Participate in training classes pertaining to child development, children at risk, special needs, etc.
*esire to work with infants and toddlers and be willing to work with preschoolers.
*Have ability to accept supervision.
*Communicate effectively with parents.
*Provide support and education to parents in a positive, non-judgmental manner.
*Respect participants communications as confidential and discuss pertinent information with Child Development Specialist.
*Involve the parent in working with his/her child.
*Follow through on instructions as they pertain to nursery management.
*Implement the activity plans for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
*Model/teach to parents how to nurture and interact with their babies.
*Effectively enhance the development of children.
*Write observations of children.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
*Associate degree in related field or High School Diploma with 90-hour Child Care Certificate and Infant-Toddler 45 Hour Certificate; CDA preferred.
*Minimum of one-year supervised classroom experience with children age zero through three years.
