POSITION SUMMARY:

In order to maximize the quality and impact that Arizonas Judicial Branch has on the communities it serves, the Arizona Supreme Court has demonstrated a commitment to providing its employees the highest quality education and training programs possible. The Education Services Division serves as the primary coordinating unit to service this need, including for judicial officers, court staff, and probation officers throughout the state. Through cutting-edge adult education theory and practice and using a variety of educational modalities (e.g. in-person sessions, eLearning, live broadcasts, etc), the Division directly provides and indirectly supports the education and training requirements for a broad audience with diverse needs.

This position provides operational and logistical support for conference and training events including registration, catering, faculty and participant support, and lodging. Under supervision, this position performs the full range of duties required in the operational and logistical support of judicial education programs which may include processing vendor contracts, accounts receivables, report generation, maintaining program records, preparing materials, and communicating with faculty and subject matter experts. This position exercises the communication skills and independence of judgement, often under severe time constraints, required to effectively support judicial education programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Training and experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree in social science, justice studies, business or similar field with related experience. The position also requires knowledge of project management and organizational skills, handling multiple simultaneous projects, accuracy and detail, and advanced level skill using Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat. The position must communicate effectively with internal and external customers of the Division, including faculty, participants, vendors, and venue property management.

Travel level: up to 10%.
