As an Electrical Engineer at INFICON, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing and testing all aspects of complex analog and mixed-signal circuits used in our products. Familiarity with advanced concepts, practices and procedures within Electrical Engineering will be required. As an individual, we are looking for you to be highly motivated with a wide degree of creativity and the ability to work on multiple projects with exciting and unique tasks in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Collaboration will be key when solving these difficult tasks. You will also be responsible for engineering support of current products.

Job Duties:

• Develop analog, RF and mixed-signal circuit designs for custom products
• Ability to perform various FMEA analysis on new and/or existing designs.
• Ability to layout critical analog, RF, and mixed-signal circuits and work with PCB designers.
• Ability to create test plans to verify product requirements
• Ability to support a team with diverse skills and talents during all phases of design, construction, testing, repair and upgrade of existing equipment and operations support
• Must have excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skill
• High energy, extremely organized and persistent, with drive and determination to achieve goals.
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic, iterative, fast-paced work environment, and able to adjust quickly as needed.
• Ability to build effective internal relationships with colleagues; work both inter-departmentally and cross-functionally as needed for project assignments
• Familiar with electronics test equipment, scopes, spectrum analyzers and multi-meters.
• Experience in CAD and OrCAD is desirable, with the ability to create schematics and layout
• Experience with bench and system-level integration/debug/troubleshooting experience. Capable of constructing and testing electrical assembles
• Experience with Agile development methods

Bachelors or betterElectrical Engineering

Experience

5 years: 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer•Experience with Analog Design and with Microcontrollers•Experience with circuit design: RF, analog, amplifiers, D/C, A/C, microcontrollers•Experience with analog design simulation tools (spice Simulators)•Experience with hardware design for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI/EMC) requirements, procedures, and EMI mitigation design practices.•Experience with failure analysis techniques such as DFMEA and PFMEA
