DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS:
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervision of the maintenance of well sites, screens, check structures,
turnouts, valve vaults, fences and gates throughout the Gila River Indian Irrigation and Drainage District
("GRIIDD") system. The Electrical Foreman will coordinate and implement a program with all parties
involved that meets the needs of the GRIIDD and maintains the water delivery and distribution systems
throughout the Gila River Indian Community on a monthly schedule that provides regular maintenance of all
structures within the system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


- Supervise maintenance workers on a regular basis and provide guidance to other employees as assigned.

- Supervise the scheduling, coordination and implementation of a maintenance schedule that meets the needs
of the GRIIDD0 Incorporate the proposed maintenance schedule into the Weekend Work SchedulePeriodically review the results of the proposed maintenance schedule for amendment, as needed, to continueproviding a workable plan.Allow a six-month period to evaluate the results and effectiveness of the proposed maintenance schedule.Train support manpower, as a back-up.Establish inventory control and storage areasProcure tools and equipment to perform the required workResponsible for providing reports and keeping accurate records of all maintenance work, scheduledand unscheduled.

- May be required to be "on-call" and respond to emergency situations after hours and/or the weekends as
requested by GRIIDD management.

personnel, engineering staff, administrative personnel, water users, city or county of?cials, road maintenance
workers and individuals from other agencies.
0 Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or GED and ?ve (5) years progressively responsible experience in the electrical and
mechanical maintenance of irrigation distribution and delivery facilities or a closely related experience to
GRIIDD facilities.

Required to obtain a Tribal Driving permit.Supervisory, Salaried Position
