PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe Email Marketing Specialist will support the planning, execution, management and measurement of all email communications sent to external audiences. This position requires a person to have the technical skills and experience with email marketing services and have a keen sense on how to use marketing technologies to drive the organizations digital marketing programs forward. This role will regularly collaborate with multiple lines of business, digital teams, creative teams, data teams and other stakeholders to develop high-quality email campaigns and journeys that drive our audiences to take engage with multi-channel marketing campaigns. This position will have a pivotal role in growing our digital marketing capabilities and improving overall customer experience.

Required Work Experience
Level 1 - 1 year experience in email marketing, marketing communications or business writing, and relevant business experience
Level 2 - 2 years experience in email marketing, marketing communications or business writing, and relevant business experience

This position is hybrid within the state of AZ only. This hybrid work opportunity requires residency, and work to be performed, within the State of Arizona.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESALL LEVELS
- Collaborate with marketing teams to build and deploy flawless digital communications to multiple marketing segments that drive audiences to engage with marketing materials and achieve desired behaviors.
- Provide support to marketing segments by managing the technical execution of ad-hoc, transactional and journey-based email communications.
- Deliver regular reporting and analysis of digital metrics to help internal stakeholders understand campaign effectiveness and guide strategy of future digital campaigns.
- Implement dynamic content in email content and behavioral triggers within journeys based on audience demographics and previous engagement that led to specific actions and measurable results for the campaign.
- Proactively engage and coordinate activities with internal stakeholders responsible for the digital experience.
- Maintain email marketing calendar for each audience ensuring volume, frequency and cadence are optimized to achieve maximum engagement.
- Maintain regulatory compliance across all digital campaigns/channels
- The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any overtime as requested or needed to perform job responsibilities.
- Special events and meetings require evening and/or weekend availability.
- Assist with other duties not detailed here to further enhance the success of the companys marketing efforts.

LEVEL 2
- Consult with and provide strategic recommendations to marketing leaders to drive audience engagement based on the campaign goals and analytical insights.
- Define and implement A/B or multivariate testing to optimize digital campaigns.
- Work with technical resources from CRM and data teams to ensure segmented lists from multiple data sources is loaded accurately into Salesforce ecosystem.
- Assist in developing and programming customer journeys for variety of campaigns that utilize demographic and engagement data to deploy email, SMS and paid media that drives audiences towards a desired action.
- Intermediate knowledge in AMPscript and SQL for emails and email automations.
- Work under intermittent supervision.
LEVEL 3
- Work with technical resources from CRM and Data teams to define relationships between data systems and taking a hands-on approach to integrating data sources with Salesforce ecosystem and marketing technology applications owned by the Digital Marketing team.
- Determine dynamic content strategy across email journeys through in-depth understanding of available fields in connected data systems, audience demographics, previous engagement and overall campaign goals, recommending specific action and measurable results
- Advance knowledge in AMPscript and SQL for emails, automations, and integrating data with Salesforce ecosystem.
- Work under minimal supervision.
