Shift: 32hrs 11:00pm-7:30am ; full-time benefit eligible

Position Summary: Under the direction of an RN, assists in patient examination, and treatment in the emergency dept.

  • Responsibilities: Greeting ambulances, taking and recording vital signs, performing EKG's, assisting with procedures, providing hygiene and nutrition, feed patients are needed, and making rounds on a group of assigned patients, stocking supplies and assist with cleaning patient care equipment. Answer and make telephone calls, order entry, data collection, chart management, and prepare charts for transfers and discharge, collect patients copays.
  • Qualifications: EMT certified or CNA certification plus CPR required; previous experience preferred
