POSITION SUMMARY:
- Under direction and supervision of an Endoscopy Nurse, the Non-Certified Endoscopy Technician is continuously responsible for assisting in the care of patients in assigned area; is directly responsible for specific technical duties and the care of the Endoscopic equipment and Endoscopes. Assists with performing Endoscopy procedures in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/License/Certification:
- Should be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Must have and maintain current BLS certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.
Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of at least six (6) months hands-on patient care required
