Holcim (US) Inc. seeks Engineer Automation II in Midlothian, Texas to establish state-of-the-art automation with respect to cement plant control systems, through implementing the plant of tomorrow’s AI and machine learning applications, in furtherance of decarbonizing construction and accelerating the production of green building products. Responsible for PCS specification, application programming, testing, commissioning, and maintenance. Applies PCS as a tool for improving plant performance including rate, availability, OEE and MTBF. Facilitates use of the PCS as a resource for Process, Maintenance, Production, Shipping, Environmental and Quality Departments. Up to 5% domestic/national travel.
