This physician executive will participate in building Centura Health's enterprise-wide cancer program from the ground up, including designing strategy to leading the team through implementation. This physician leader will be part of a team who will build, develop, implement and lead a national leading cancer care operation. This physician executive will participate in cancer care strategy and operations, multidisciplinary clinical care, quality and patient safety to provide an efficient, leading-edge patient centered delivery model. They will work closely with a national partner through an integrated partnership to elevate the system's capabilities to advance all aspects of cancer care delivery. This role requires an experienced, passionate and charismatic leader to collaborate with peers, stakeholders and providers across the enterprise to deliver a destination program for patients.

The Enterprise Medical Director of Radiation Oncology & Integrated Cancer Care will provide physician leadership in the design, development, administration, and direction of programming and business development activities related to the Oncology Service Line across both Centura Health Operating Groups (Denver Metro; Greater Colorado and Kansas), in furtherance of the System's strategic goals. These activities include evaluating the components of services now available to identify gaps and barriers within the system and developing processes with team members to reduce the gaps, overcome the barriers and provide the greatest accessibility within the catchment area. This position will be responsible for leading efforts across the system to grow and create true clinical and service excellence within our oncology service line. This position will report to the Executive Medical Director of Oncology and will be responsible for the development of medical physics, cancer genetics, cancer quality outcomes, and other areas as growth demands. Evaluation, process improvement, clinical standards and business development activities will take place in a close working relationship, Physician Executives, Entity Leaders and subject matter experts. In this manner, the position will require strong skills in working within complex and matrixed health systems and in managing through influence. Participation in the leadership of clinical standardization and clinical value transformation activities across all assigned hospitals will be a critical aspect of this Enterprise role. The Enterprise Medical Director of Radiation Oncology and Integrated Cancer Care will work collaboratively with the clinical teams throughout both Operating Groups within the Centura Health hospitals and Medical Group, in order to provide the highest quality and appropriately accessible care to the communities we serve.

This position may be eligible for bonus and/or relocation incentive.

Minimum Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years of radiation oncology experience.

Strong previous performance of providing quality and efficiency in patient care and operations.

Strong track record of recruitment, retention of talent and leadership development.

Experience with leading and redirecting talent as needed.

Strong ability to lead in a changing environment.

Education Requirement

Doctorate MD or DO
