Job Description
SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor
students performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity.
Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Special Education Certificate K-12 - CCS
OR
Arizona Special Education Certificate K-12 - Mild-Moderate
Arizona Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle Grades OR Secondary Certificate WITH Mild-Moderate Special Education Endorsement, PreK-12
OR
Arizona Special Education Hearing Impaired, Visually Impaired, Early Childhood Special Education OR Moderate/Severe Disabilities WITH Mild-Moderate Special Education Endorsement, PreK-12
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
