Executive Advisor Rebate Finance Analytics

Caremark, LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Northbrook, IL: Executive Advisor Rebate Finance Analytics to apply experience from strategy consulting, analytics, and data engineering to successfully act as the product owner for multiple analytics initiatives. Act as a key subject matter expert and thought leader to management staff. Direct initiatives and/or staff using established best practices. Responsible for performing data analysis and developing insights to drive financial results. Develop deep understanding of drug rebate data and claims and build analyses and models to guide the leadership team on opportunities and strategies for improvement. Work with the director rebate process innovation to define priorities and ensure there is alignment with enterprise objectives. Deliver value by performing complex data analysis and also automating manual and/or time-consuming processes across a variety of tools and applications. Identify process inefficiencies and provide recommendation to the business and leadership on how to improve and transform our operations. Collaborate and lead business initiatives which work to identify and resolve business needs. Analyze massive datasets consisting of hundreds of millions of claims. Support business partners across a multitude of systems and applications in order to help deliver on commitments in a more efficient manner. Understand key drivers of business value and translate into business opportunities and frame them as analytical problems. Structure data analysis, driving analytics insights and analytical solutions to help data team determine the best analytical solution. Work with senior leaders to identify opportunities to implement analytics solutions to business problems. Resolve issues and remove barriers that hinder analytics initiatives. Produce and analyze large datasets. Provide recommendations and subject matter expertise based on observations. Develop and document reporting and analytic needs including dashboards, trending analysis and quality analytics. Consult on the creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs using an expert understanding of business strategy as well as relevant big data environment topics. Create analytic tools as needed to support business needs. Act as an analytics product owner translating business needs into analytics projects and actions.
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience producing complex, detailed analytics against large datasets. Must also have 5 years of experience in using structured query language (sql); data management languages; creating executive-level presentation materials using powerpoint & excel; using advanced data analytics and database management tools; and project management. 10% travel required.

Education
Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Engineering Systems, Data Analytics, Healthcare Analytics or related field.
