Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
  • Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
  • Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.
  • May responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing.
  • May direct and lead the work of others.
  • May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities.
  • Create spreadsheets, manage databases and prepare presentations, reports and documents as needed.
  • Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls.
  • May cover the reception desk when required.
  • Calendar management, schedule appointments, update calendars and arrange staff meetings.
  • Coordinate and maintain privileging and credentialing process for physicians.
  • Process and maintain credentialing for all physicians, nurse practitioners, and any other positions requiring credentialing.
  • Responsible for development of Governing Body Quarterly Report.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years administrative secretarial experience, preferably in a medical or behavioral health field. Knowledge of OBHL and JCAHO rules and regulations. Demonstrate good organizational skills with an ability to prioritize work.
