Pay Range

$20. 55 - $28. 22/hr

Assists cardiac rehabilitation team to educate and provide exercise leadership for in-patients and out-patients with the goal to restore optimal functional activity and understanding of cardiac disease management. Develops, implements, andevaluates exercise programs for patients. Assesses cardiovascular and metabolic effects of exercise for cardiac andmusculoskeletal rehabilitation. Creates educational materials and sessions for patients. Promote health and fitness through a variety of programs in the Wellness Center.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Two years of experience in a Cardiopulmonary Rehab or other clinical experience OR 600 hours of preceptor-supervisedclinical experience in the specialties of Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Cardiac Diagnostics or Adult Fitness Training to include Phase I, Phase II and Phase III exercise leadership in hospital settingAdvanced knowledge of exercise physiology in patient with multiple comorbidities, understanding of medications, riskfactor modifications strategies, counseling techniques and uses of behavioral change programs and technologies applicable to Cardiac RehabPrior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related from an accredited university or college

BLS Required

ACLS Preferred

ACSM RCEP or AACVPR CCRP certification preferred or within 12 months of hire

Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
