Facilities Supervisor:
The position is responsible for facilities management at Donor Network of Arizona. The individual in this position will be responsible for all day-to-day facilities operations, including maintenance, reporting, work order/project management, vendor management, emergency planning. The Facilities Supervisor will effectively manage vendor relationships; ensure compliance with federal, state local, AOPO, CMS, AATB, EBAA FDA, and OSHA/ADOSH regulations; and act as liaison to DNA departments, leaders, and employees on anything facilities management related.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education
Associates Degree, some college, and/or related certifications/training.

Minimum Experience
3-5 years of facilities maintenance supervisory experience

Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge of inventory management
Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology

Preferred Experience
3-5 years of facilities/inventory management experience in a health care environment
Comprehensive knowledge around facility systems and operations.

Physical Demands
Work for an extended period while maintaining a high level of professionalism and concentration, effective problem solving and quality interpersonal interactions with all individuals involved in the donation process.
Practice is regulated by protocols and regulatory agencies, yet requires sound professional judgments rendered in challenging situations that are not captured in existing standards.
Heavy physical effort (moves/lifts/carries up to 75 pounds)
Occasional prolonged standing
Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers supplies/donors
Manual dexterity and mobility
Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching

Vision Requirements
Far Acuity: ability to see clearly at 20 feet or more
Near Acuity: ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less
Depth Perception: ability to judge distance and space relationships
Accommodation: ability to adjust vision to bring objects into focus
Color vision: ability to distinguish and identify different colors

Environmental Conditions
Temperature Changes: variations in temperature from hot to cold

Working Conditions
Working environment will consist of operating room, supply room, morgue, outside facility, and office environments.
Exposed to hazards from electrical/mechanical/power equipment
Exposed to housekeeping/cleaning agents/chemicals
Subject to injury from moving parts of equipment
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations
In-state travel required, by automobile
Subject to contact outside of scheduled working hours
