General Description of Duties: The Project Manager is a key team member responsible for multiple commercial and residential property capital projects. This will include budgeting, planning, and supervising a wide range of remodeling and construction projects from start to finish. This requires an experienced, knowledgeable, self-motivated Facilities Project Manager with hands on experience. The Project Manager will be responsible for determining, and defining the project scope, and resources needed to reach the objectives, including, preparing a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements. Plan all construction phases and develop project timeline and deadlines. Procure quotes and proposals in a competitive bid process to find the best prices. Get equipment and material as needed for active projects. Monitor contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure deliverables are met. Ensure all projects and activities comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes. Consistently track project costs in order to meet budgeted costs. Provide strategy, adjustments, and progress updates to Management. Proactively complete property inspections to provide future development and improvement plans. Have the ability to measure project performance to identify areas for improvements. Will perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree and/or professional certifications in related field(s) preferred. Must have a minimum of five (5) years proven experience as a facilities and/or construction project manager, and experienced in standard construction practices, building systems, and maintenance procedures. Knowledge of New Mexico building electrical and plumbing codes, OSHA safety regulations, and environmental standards. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and experience in project budgeting and cost controls. Professional certifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), are a plus. Be proficient in industrial general permit management, air quality regulations, and record keeping responsibilities. Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and design modifications. Must have experience in basic accounting and finance principles, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills. Must have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers. This position requires an in depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles, and the ability to successfully prioritize and complete multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

Other Requirements: Must be pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening. Must possess a valid NM drivers license and proof of auto liability insurance. Must have own reliable transportation and agency insurable driving record. Must be able to lift 80 lbs., crawl, climb 20 ft., crouch, kneel, sit and walk occasionally. Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulders, balance push/pull, and carry frequently. Must be able to work with paints, dust, cleaning chemicals, and other solvents as required in performance of job duties. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Job Type: Full Time

Pay From: $70,000 annually DOE.
