Position Summary |

Residence Life and Student Housing Facilities Services Techs play an integral role in providing quality living experience in the residence halls. UNM Residence Life and Student Housing endeavors to foster inclusive, community-based living environments consciously designed for our residents' personal growth and academic success within well-maintained facilities. This position contributes to the department mission by supporting the quality of the living facilities of Residence Life and Student Housing. Under the direct supervision of the department Supervisor of Maintenance, the Facilities Services Techs perform a wide range of facilities tasks including non-technical maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning facilities and equipment, at a level not requiring formal licensure. May be required to perform tasks of other unlicensed trades, such as a light equipment operator, carpenter, and painter. The Facilities Services Tech will:

Minimum Qualifications |
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. High school diploma or GED; successful completion of PPD Trades Training Program and at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. |
