Required Qualifications
MD, DO, MBBS degree required
Board eligible or Board certified in Nephrology
Nephrology Fellowship Trained
Academic degree as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held. Demonstrated record of effectiveness as a teacher, a record of peer reviewed publication and/or peer-reviewed creative activity which has contributed to the discipline or field of study, to the candidates intellectual and artistic development, and to the quality of the academic enterprise; a record of professional service appropriate to the discipline; promise of growth in teaching and research or artistic and creative activity

Major/Essential Functions
- Training /certification in Nephrology.
- Participation in teaching medical students, residents, and nephrology fellows in lectures, conferences and bedside teaching.
- Maintain regular nephrology out-patient clinics and dialysis rounds.
- On a rotational basis, provide in-patient hospital service and out-patient clinic at Montford Correctional Facility.
- Scholarly activity in the area of nephrology will be required.
