Faculty - Part Time AGACNP - College of Nursing and Health Care Professions

The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions is seeking a part-time Faculty Member for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (AGACNP).

This role is located at our main campus - 33rd and Camelback in Phoenix, Arizona. One evening course per week (5pm to 9pm). In office two days per week.

What you will do:

• Teach one or more subjects within prescribed curriculum to facilitate and engage students in the learning process
• Compile bibliographies of specialized materials for outside reading assignments
• Stimulate class discussions
• Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others
• Remain current with new trends and development in his/her field of expertise
• Required to maintain the equivalent of a two courses per semester
• Attend two on campus student events (program related/student preparedness)
• Required to facilitate in the Adult GACNP On-Campus clinical residency experiences

What you need:

• Masters degree required (MSN), Doctoral preferred or pursuing
• Eighteen (18) hours of graduate study in a field relevant to teach responsibilities
• Two or more years of relevant nursing/medical experience as a practicing nurse practitioner
• Unencumbered, current RN Licensure in Arizona or a compact state required
• Board certified ACNP or AGACNP
